Montfort Cottage Guest House is a lovely, compact and bijou 19th century traditional Lakeland stone terrace cottage which provides fabulous bed and breakfast accommodation exclusively for non-smokers.
The guest house is personally run by its owner, Leigh Giles, and is the perfect accommodation base from which to explore the stunning scenery and natural beauty of the Lake District.
Situated in a quiet residential area close to Baddeley Clock Tower, the midway point between Windermere and Bowness, Montfort Cottage is just a 10 minute walk from either village and their abundance of shops, restaurants and traditional pubs, and a short distance from Lake Windermere itself.
Guests of Montfort Cottage are also entitled to complimentary use of the leisure facilities at Parklands Country Club in Bowness, so don't forget to bring your swimming costume and a towel. Facilities offered free of charge include the use of the gym, swimming pool, steam bath and sauna.

There are 4 tastefully decorated contemporary style guest bedrooms at Montfort Cottage, each providing accommodation for up to two people in a double bed. All have en-suite facilities except one, which has sole use of a private bathroom. For that special occasion, honeymoon or romantic weekend, there are two rooms with four poster double beds.
