Our BNB is a local building of historic interest. We accept payment in cash. Our establishment is fitted with central heating throughout. All or some rooms have ensuite facilities. Garden and/or patio area for guests Internet access available in rooms or residents lounge.

Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Set in the heart of the beautiful Georgian city of city.

It is ideally situated off the main roads and adjacent to Henrietta park, but within a few minutes level stroll of the city centre with its many attractions, restaurants and excellent shopping centre.

The House is built from natural Bath stone and has four excellent guest rooms, some with king size and wrought iron beds and one with a private patio area. Current extensive renovations plus warm and attractive decorations have provided well appointed, spacious and comfortable ensuite rooms. All are equipped with remote colour televisions, radio/alarm clocks, broadband internet connection, hairdryers and refreshment trays.

Owners Toni and Dawn have created a splendid and delightful bed & breakfast with superb hospitality in a relaxing atmosphere, all the necessary ingredients for making your stay in Bath a truly memorable experience.

Chestnuts House is situated in Henerietta Road, adjacent to Henrietta Park, within a few minutes walk of Pulteney Bridge and the Abbey. An ideal location
Directions from the M4 Junction 18

* Leave the M4 junction 18 onto the A46, following signs for Bath
* On entering Bath you will pass under a flyover at the roundabout take a right, onto A4 (London road) into Bath
* Continue on the A4 for about mile and half, passing through a number of pedastrian lights
* At the next set of major lights turn left following signs for A36 Warminster
* Cross over Cleveland bridge, you will pass fire station on your left and immediately take the next right
* The Chestnuts House is 50m on your left

Directions from the train station

* From train station head north along Manvers St.
* At the traffic lights cross over to the Parade Gardens and proceed along the Grand Parade
* Turn right over Pulteney bridge
* At Laura Place Fountain take the left turning onto Henrietta St
* Continue passed Henrietta Park (on your right hand side)
* Chestnuts House is 50m on your right.
