Metro Centre
MetroCentre is the largest shopping centre in the United Kingdom, the European Union, and the third biggest on the European continent.The centre's leisure facilities include an 11-screen Odeon cinema, a bowling alley, a Quasar laser tag arena, and amusement arcades (with arcade games and slot machines).
Playhouse Theatre, Theatre Royal
The theatre hosts a variety of shows, including ballet, contemporary dance, drama, musicals and opera. The Royal Shakespeare Company visits annually, and considers the Theatre Royal its northern base.
Quayside
The Quayside is the area along the banks of the River Tyne between Newcastle upon Tyne and Gateshead in North East England. The Gateshead side of the river is also referred to as Gateshead Quays. In recent years, the area has been heavily invested in to provide a modern environment for Modern Arts, Music, Housing, Culture as well as bars and night clubs to coexist.
