Our establishment is fitted with central heating throughout. All or some rooms have ensuite facilities. Garden and/or patio area for guests There is a leisure centre nearby. We have on-site parking. There are scenic walks in the surrounding area.

The Nagoya Country House is situated in Bowness, over-looking Lake Windermere. Our guest take advantage of the fact that we are a stones throw away from some of the worlds best historical and scenic walks around the Lake District.

The Nagoya Country House is owned by Jennifer Bailey who maintains her accommodation to the highest standards making sure your stay is a good one.
We are located in the heart of the Lake District which is ideal for those who like to take advantage of the surroundings.

If you are not the adventurous type, then you can be assured of a peaceful nights rest as the Nagoya is far enough away from the town to reduce the noise levels but only a 3 minute walk from town itself when you need to have a browse around.

Through our experience over the years we have developed our Country House in such a way that gives our guests a relaxed feeling during their stay. We are situated in a very quite area of Bowness that has an elevated view over the lakes.
Some of the scenery that you will witness can be quite spectacular, no matter what time of year you decide to come to the Lake District.

Jennifer believes that the care and attention that she puts into the upkeep of her Country House reflects on how much she respects the value of your stay.

Modern, well appoiinted bedrooms all en-suite with colour TV and coffee facilities.

All our rooms are on ground level which means that you have no more stairs to climb after hiking around the lakes. They are also a main advantage to those who find stairs a problem.

 

Windermere Attractions

 
Nagoya is perfectly situated for investigating the wonderful countryside of the Lake District.

We have many places of interest near by including the wonderful world of Beatrix potter!

Nagoya's guests enjoy free entrance to Parklands County Club, situated 100 yards away. The club incorporates a Swiming Pool, Sauna, Steam Room and Jet Showers. There is a Badmington Court, Squash Court, Trimnasium, two full size snooker tables and a Solarium.

We are ideally situated for all Lakeland activates with local shops & restaurants only a three-minute walk away.

From junction 36 on the M6 turn left onto the dual carriageway. Stay on the dual carriageway to the end (approx.8 miles). At the large roundabout take the first turn on the left, road No.B5284 signed HAWKSHEAD.
Stay on this country road through CROOK. At the end of this road (approx.7 miles) is a T-junction. Turn right, half a mile on the right is a new housing development. Turn right at the new houses onto Brackenfield.

The Nagoya is at the top of the hill on the left.
