Argyll View Bed & Breakfast is a traditional Scottish house built circa 1835 on the beautiful banks of Loch Long in the village of Arrochar.

Whether your stay is for business or pleasure you are assured of a very warm welcome and our aim is to make your stay with us a happy and memorable one.

Just 45 minutes drive from Glasgow in the heart of Scotland’s First National Park, is an area of mountains and Lochs, the most well known being Loch Lomond. Two miles from Loch Lomond nestled in the mountains that surround it is the village of Arrochar with views over the hills that have become known as The Arrochar Alps.

Argyll View is an ideal base for walkers and hill walkers as we are within easy reach of Ben Ime 1101m, Vorlich 943m, Narnain 926m, Vane 915m, Arthur 884m, and A’Chrois 848m and many low level walks.

Arrochar has lots to offer, such as walking, fishing and climbing. Nearby Loch Lomond has various water sports and golf available or you can relax and take a cruise. Helensburgh is a short drive away (18 miles) or visit Oban, Inverary or Dunoon or you can take a train from Arrochar & Tarbet Station and enjoy the beautiful scenery to Fort William and Mallaig. Visit Oban (60 miles) or visit Inverary Jail & castle (20 miles).

 

Arrochar Attractions

 
Arrochar has lots to offer, such as local walks and mountains. Ben Ime 1101m, Vorlich 943m, Narnain 926m, Vane 915m, Arthur 884m, and A’Chrois 848m and many low level walks, all within easy reach of our B&B

There is an opportunity to do some fishing in some areas of Loch Long. Nearby Loch Lomond has various water sports and golf available or you can relax and take a cruise form Tarbet Peir. Helensburgh is a short drive away where you can visit Hill House or just for a little shopping. Inverary is a short distance away where you can visit the castle and grounds, and there are various gardens to visit within the area. Why not take a train from Arrochar & Tarbet Station and enjoy the beautiful scenery to Fort William and then the Jacobite Train to Mallaig. Oban is only 90 minutes from Arrochar where you can take ferries to various islands, or a boat out to see the seals and pups, just take in the sea air and enjoy some beautiful fresh fish & chips.

From Glasgow Airport : -
Follow signs to M8 joining at junction 30.
Follow Greenock M8.
Turn left onto M898 Erskine Bridge and cross the bridge.
Branch left to join A82 towards Crianlarich.
Follow signs for Crainlarich until you reach Tarbet. Continue on towards Campbeltown on A83 for two miles until you reach the Arrochar Hotel.
Argyll View can be found 200m on the right.

We have ample off street parking.
