Bed and Breakfast Description

 

East Woolley is an ideal base from which to explore North Cornwall and North Devon. With Its Dramatic Coastline, Lovely Beaches and wonderful cliff path walks.

The hamlet of Woolley, part of the Morwenstow parish is set on the North Cornish coastline.

We have established a nature trail for guests to walk across farmland and down through our wooded valley.

Accommodation consists of 2 double and 1 twin self-contained ensuite bedrooms in a converted barn. Freedom to come and go as you please. All rooms have shower, WC and wash basin, TV, tea and coffee making facilities.

Meals are served in the farmhouse slate floor lounge/dinning room.

Breakfast consists of a traditional English Breakfast or somthing lighter if you prefer. Local and organic food used whenever possible, also eggs from our own chickens.

 

Bude Attractions

 
The Seaside towns of Bude, Boscastle and the legendary Tintagel are all within easy reach. If you drive a few miles north there is Hartland with its spectacular cliffs, the quaint fishing village of Clovelly with its cobbled street and further on you can visit the port towns of Bideford and Appledore.

Beaches at Duckpool and Welcombe are a short distance away where you can walk along some beautiful coastline.Morwenstow Church and the National Trust Rectory tea rooms are worth a visit, you can take a stroll out to the cliffs and see Hawkers Hut where Reverend Hakwer the founder of Harvest Festival wrote his poems.

Why not walk our nature trail, across farmland and through our wooded valley.

Less than an hours drive will take you to the ever popular Eden Project. The Worlds largest collection of plant life from around the world housed under 3 gigantic biospheres. A must for every visitor in the region.

On the A39 between Bideford and Bude, take the turning to Woolley just 1 mile south of Welcombe Cross and 3 miles north of Kilkhampton. East Woolley is 1/2 a mile on the right.
