Description

Tamberry Hall is rated as 5 STARS by VisitBritain and the AA. We have also been awarded the prestigious GOLD AWARD which reflects our exceptional levels of quality, comfort and service.

The house is in a beautiful, traditional cottage style, having a comfortable friendly atmosphere and is furnished to a very high standard. The exposed beams throughout the house and large inglenook fireplace add to its charm and character.

Guests are invited to use the drawing room with TV and inglenook fireplace and are most welcome to make use of the patio and gardens.

There are lots of things to see and do in this part of the country. Sussex is renowned for its picturesque countryside, beautiful gardens, historical sites and for its stunning coastline. There is shopping aplenty and Brighton, Tunbridge Wells and Eastbourne are all equidistant from Tamberry Hall (15 miles approximately).

ancestral home of the Dukes of Norfolk, the castle dates from the Norman Conquest.

Battle Abbey and battlefield
world famous for the 1066 invasion battle.

Lewes Castle
imposing castle and barbican, built shortly after 1066.

Location

Approaching from the North (M25, Junction 6) follow the A22 signposted Eastbourne, and follow past Uckfield to Halland. Tamberry Hall is on the right hand side, 200 metres before the junction with the B2192, at the Halland Forge roundabout.

Approaching from the A27, take the Lewes turnoff signposted Lewes and Tunbridge Wells. this takes you through the Cuilfail Tunnel, where you turn right at the roundabout onto the A26. Follow the A26 to the junction with the A22, turn right at the roundabout on to the A22, signposted towards Eastbourne, and Tamberry Hall is about 2 miles on the right hand side, when you come into Halland.

Approaching from the South or from the B2192 follow the road to the Halland Forge roundabout and head towards Uckfield on the A22 where Tamberry Hall will be found 200 metres on the left.
