Glenferness, situated in the medieval village of Robertsbridge, within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the heart of the countryside and yet only 12 miles from the sea, is the ideal location for visiting historic castles, houses, gardens and places of interest in Sussex and Kent.It was built with comfort in mind. Its large rooms with high ceilings and elegant accommodation provides a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere for the discerning guest.

 

Robertsbridge Attractions

 
Robertsbridge is a very convenient base from which to explore many parts of Sussex and Kent. Glenferness is a few minutes drive from the A21 and is only 30 miles south of the M25/J5 and 40 miles from the Channel Tunnel. Glenferness is only 150 yards/metres from the railway station. Trains are available hourly to Battle, Tunbridge Wells, etc on the main line from Hastings to London.
Bonfire night is celebrated in great style every November in Robertsbridge. This is a very popular event with torch-lit processions, bonfires and wonderful firework displays that attract large numbers of visitors for a great family fun evening.

How to find us: Robertsbridge is just off the A21, four miles north of Battle. From the village High Street turn west (at the butcher's shop) along Station Road. After the railway crossing the road name changes to Brightling Road. Glenferness is on the right 150 yards/metres past the station.
