With lovely south facing gardens situated in the pretty village of Burton Leonard, halfway between Harrogate and Ripon, ideally placed for both town and country.
Two twin/double rooms with en-suite facilities, delightfully furnished & decorated to a high standard.
Breakfasts are cooked to order & include homemade preserves & freshly baked bread from the AGA. There are two excellent pubs in the village within easy walking distance, both serving excellent food. Evening meals can be provided at Fountains House by prior arrangement.
With Nidderdale, the Yorkshire Dales and the World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal just a short distance away, this really is a lovely place to spend a few days away from it all. The North Yorkshire Moors are also within striking distance of Burton Leonard.

Fountains House has two delightful bed and breakfast (B&B) guest rooms, both with en-suite bathrooms, and furnished and decorated to a high standard, with tea & coffee tray, TV, self-controlled central heating and comfortable armchairs to relax in.
Bedroom 1: This room has a queen-sized bed. Bedroom 2: This room has twin beds.
Breakfast is served between 8:30am and 9:30am in our dining room with views over the beautiful rear garden. As well as the two excellent pubs in the village, dinner can also be available at Fountains House by arrangement.
Guests can relax in the garden whilst taking in the peace and tranquility of our uninterrupted south facing views over fields and hedgerows. Ample private off-road parking is also available adjacent to the property.

Many excellent restaurants including Bettys famous tea shop and café, and the renowned Northern Horticultural Society gardens at Harlow Carr.
Ripon Ancient Catherdral city and the famous Hornblower blows his horn every evening at dusk.
Knaresborough Castle, River Nidd and open market on Wednesdays.
York The Castle, Jorvic, and National Railway Museum, the Shambles and medieval city walls, horse carriage drives through the city, river trips, YorkMinster and much more.
Ripley Castle, Newby hall, Castle Howard and Harewood House are just some of the many country houses of Yorkshire that are well worth a visit.
Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden A National Trust property which remains of a Cistercian Abbey and elegant ornamental lakes and gardens. Restaurant and Tea Rooms also available.
Brimham Rocks Curious rock formations at Brimham in Nidderdale are scattered over some 50 acres on Brimham Moor and provide a great variety of weird and wonderful shapes. This is a National Trust location - have your membership cards ready.
If you are a keen walker, there are many lovely walks locally; the Ripon Rowel, Nidderdale Way, the Yorkshire Moors, Dales and villages including Herriot country for you to explore.

From the A1M Junction 48 (Boroughbridge):
Go through the village of Minskip, Stavely & Copgrove, into Burton Leonard.
Turn left past the Royal Oak pub up the main street past the village green.
Fountains House is approx 200 metres further on your left. Drive into the parking area just past the house, come through the garden gate and follow the path to the entrance.
From Harrogate:
Take the A61 towards Ripon. At Wormald Green (opposite Garage at the top of hill).
Take a right turn along Station Lane toward Burton Leonard.
On entering the village we are approx 500 Metres on the right.
Drive into the parking area, come through the garden gate and follow the path to the entrance.
