Bed and Breakfast Description

The house has been lovingly refurbished and restored to its former elegance since the Morgan-Evans family bought it in early 2007 and now offers comfortable, high class accommodation at reasonable prices

Bryncelyn Bed and Breakfast provides an excellent base to explore the beautiful West Wales countryside, being within easy reach of the Gower Peninsular, Pembrey Country Park and The Black Mountains. Also, the National Botanical Gardens and Aberglasney Estate are both just a short drive away.

The town of Ammanford is two miles distant, the lovely old market town of Llandeilo just 10 miles away, whilst Swansea and Carmarthen (both excellent shopping centres) are just 20 miles away. Or why not take a trip on the Heart of Wales Train line to Shrewsbury, Pantyfynnon Station being just two miles from Bryncelyn Bed and Breakfast.

Bryncelyn Bed and Breakfast also makes for a perfect stopover for those travelling further west to Tenby and beyond, or to the ferry ports at Pembroke Dock and Fishguard en route to Ireland.

We must be honest and say that we regularly receive complaints from our guests - that the breakfast is too large and with too much choice!

If you are looking for a relaxing break in the lovely West Wales countryside then Bryncelyn offers an old-fashioned, unhurried atmosphere to escape from the pressures of modern life.

Local Attractions
Visit the National Botanical Gardens of Wales, Aberglasney Estate house and gardens and Carreg Cennen Castle, all within a short drive of Bryncelyn.

We also make an excellent base to explore the Gower Peninsula, The Millenium Park at Pembrey and the West Wales Coast - Tenby is just an hour's drive away.

Or for the inland travellers, The Black Mountain and Brecon Beacons are just a short drive away.

From the East or West

At Junction 49 of the M4 motorway (the last junction where the motorway ends and becomes the A48 Dual Carriageway), take the A483 signposted 'Ammanford' and 'Llandeilo'. Follow this road for approximately 3 miles into the village of Tycroes.

Bryncelyn is located on the left hand side as you drive down through the village- Look for the white B & B sign.
