4 Star Guest House (Scottish Tourist Board graded)

The house is beautifully situated with spectacular views looking towards Loch Alsh and the ruins of Castle Moil.

Guests also have their own residents lounge and from the patio window you can see a variety of birds (binoculars supplied).

Blairdhu House is beautifully furnished throughout to a high standard, all rooms are en-suite with TV, tea/coffee making facilities, radio, hairdryers and ironing facilities. Two Twin and One Family and Four Double Rooms are available.

We offer a menu breakfast that includes continental buffet and supply the finest filter coffee. There is a superb panoramic view from the dining room, which rarely fails to impress our guests.

Guests also have their own residents lounge and from the patio window you can see a variety of birds (binoculars supplied).

CANCELLATION POLICY: Please Note all rooms are held with a credit/debit card. Cancellations within 24 hours of arrival will be charged the full amount of the first nights stay.

Kyleakin Attractions

 
Armadale Castle Gardens and Museum of the Isles is set in the heart of a 20,000 acre Highland estate. The Trust has restored the gardens and part of the Castle, created the Museum of the Isles, founded the Study Centre, built holiday accommodation and established a visitor centre that appeals to all age groups. Armadale has in the stables a licensed restaurant and shop with mail order facilities.

Dunvegan Castle Set in the stunning scenery of the world famous Isle of Skye, Dunvegan Castle is the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Scotland and has been the stronghold of the Chiefs of MacLeod for nearly 800 years. Originally designed to keep people out, it was first opened to visitors in 1933. Romantic and historic, Dunvegan has consistently ranked as one of Scotland's premier visitor attractions. Over time, we have given a warm Highland welcome to visitors including Sir Walter Scott, Dr Johnson, Queen Elizabeth II and the Japanese Emperor Akihito.

You can reach us by most local services, the train or bus from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh. Then you just catch the local shuttle bus over the bridge, come off at the roundabout and you will see our sign.

A hire car can be arranged for you to tour Skye if required.

Blairdhu House is situated just 100 metres from the roundabout as you come off the Skye Bridge and is just five minutes walk from the lovely fishing village of Kyleakin, which offers bars/restaurants and shops. The village also offers some lovely walkS.
