Garden and/or patio area for guests Our establishment is fitted with central heating throughout. We have on-site parking. We're sorry, we do not accept pets. We welcome same sex groups. Our BNB is a local building of historic interest.
There is a beach nearby. There are scenic walks in the currounding area. All rooms have TV. All or some rooms have ensuite facilities. All or some rooms have private bathrooms. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities.
Hairdryers are available in rooms or on request. Smoking is not permitted in the establishment.

Description

Our rooms are bright & comfortable with lovely views to the front & rear of the house. Each room has a courtesy tray ,TV, clock radio & hair dryer. Washing, drying & ironing facilities are available also 'fridge, freezer, telephone & internet access, upon request.
Car parking on our drive. A lock up garage is available for car/motor cycles/bicycles if required.

Walkers can enjoy our beautiful countryside in and around Poling , the South Downs & Arun valley. Packed lunches can be provided by prior arrangement. Chichester & Portsmouth are within easy reach to the West, and Worthing, Brighton & Eastbourne to the East. London Victoria is approximately 90 minutes by train & Gatwick airport approximately 45 minutes by car or train.

Local Attractions
Arundel Castle. Set in 40 acres of grounds and gardens, Arundel Castle has been open to visitors seasonally for nearly 200 years. It is one of the Treasure Houses of England.
Arundel Cathedral
Arundel Farmers Market Held the 3rd Saturday in each month from 9.00 am - 1.00 pm in the centre of Arundel where you can buy local produce
Arundel Wildfowl & Wetlands Centre The Wildfowl & Wetlands centre at Arundel is surrounded by ancient woodland and overlooked by the town's historic castle and is home to many rare species of wetland wildlife.
Goodwood Set in 12,000 acres of rolling Sussex Downland, Goodwood enjoys an exceptional variety and unique mixture of activities, ranging from horseracing, motor racing, flying, golf and shooting.

Arriving by Car:Poling is just off the A27 between Arundel (2.5 miles) and Worthing (approx 10 miles) - See map above.
Arriving by Train:Arundel station is the closest railway station to Medlar Cottage (2.3 miles). Taxis are available from the station forecourt. If travelling from Central London, take the train to Arundel from Victoria Station or Clapham Junction Station. Frequent trains also run from Brighton, Worthing, Bognor Regis, Chichester and Portsmouth.
Arriving from Gatwick Airport:

Train services run from Gatwick Airport South Terminal to Arundel station.
