Built in 1490 in a charming, picturesque position we offer a haven in which to unwind, relax and discover the intricate charm of Hastings and 1066 Country. We continue to receive glowing press testimonials, endorsing our high level of service, facilities and unprecedented luxury in Europe's largest beach-launched fishing town.

Local Attractions
Swan House is nestled in the heart of peaceful, yet bustling, Hastings Old Town with its eclectic mix of antique and junk shops, quirky art galleries, unique jewelers and second hand book shops.

For food, Hastings is one of the best places to enjoy freshly prepared fish and chips. There are a wealth of pubs and a fine range of good quality restaurants to suit all budgets and occasions. We are always happy to make recommendations.

By car
From either the A21 or the A259, follow signs for Hastings town centre, then signs to either Priory Meadow car park or Priory Street car park. Alternatively, Hastings station car park is close by.
By train

Hastings railway station is close bye London to Hastings takes approximately one-and-a-half hours. Ashford International to Hastings takes around 45 minutes, Tunbridge Wells to Hastings takes 45 minutes and Eastbourne to Hastings takes approximately 30 minutes.
By bus

There is a National Express coach service operating to Hastings from London Victoria and a local bus service connecting the surrounding area.
