We are a new concept in guest accomodation. More friendly than a hotel but a cut above the rest of the traditional Bed and Breakfasts. Stay in style! Lavish rooms with soothing colours and beautiful features.

We have a variety of rooms including our decadent, luxury room which has a free-standing roll top bath, king size bed in a lovely spacious room. Alternatively, there is the modern and artistic superior room with the iconic chaise longue by the famed artist "Le Corbousier" and art inspired by Andreas Gursky commissioned specially for maison mascara.

Light sleeper? Have a good nights kip with our ear plugs for sale at reception. We are located around central Brighton (it's only 5-10 mins walk to the Laines in the centre of Brighton) so there is a certain amount of street noise in some rooms, but then Brighton is the party capital of the UK.

A network of small streets filled with lots of independent shops, designer labels, cafes and restaurants. Divided into the North and South Laines they are a wonderful place to shop, browse or just have a coffee.

The Royal Pavillion
A famous palace with an Eastern design. Set in the grounds of a wonderful park, this place is very romantic at night.

The Pier
Rides for kids young and old as well as amusement arcades, fortune telling and wonderful views of the seafront.

The Marina
Nice for a stroll by lots of boats there is a casino, bars, restaurants and also boat rides available from here.

The Sea Life Centre
See many different kinds of aquatic life, close to the pier.

Location
By Car:

From the A23 you reach the pier roundabout. Take a right along the seafront road. Carry on until you reach the China Garden restaurant and take a right up Preston street. This is just past Regency Square and is opposite the Old (West) pier. Carry on up Preston street and take a left at the end. Carry on until you reach some traffic lights and take a left. We are the third building down on the right hand side, 33 Montpelier Road.

By Train:

From the train station you go down the main road outside, Queen's road. Take a right at the clock tower. You reach a fork in the road. Take the left and go past the Churchill Square shopping Centre. Carry on until you reach some traffic lights and take a left. We are the third building down on the right hand side, 33 Montpelier Road. It is about a 15 minute walk.

Alternatively take a taxi from the station to Maison Mascara, please remember to tell them the address 33 Montpelier Road, near Waitrose and Taj Supermarket on Western road.
