A warm welcome awaits you at Drynachan Beag Bed & Breakfast, which is a recently built bungalow with all rooms on the ground floor. We can offer a large double/family room with en-suite bath and shower room and space for up to 2 additional beds, a cosy double room with en-suite shower room, a twin room and a single room. Children and pets are welcome as are walkers and cyclists and we offer secure storage for cycles/motorcyles in our locked garage and laundry and drying facilities on request.
Each room has satellite TV, wi-fi internet access, hairdryer and hospitality tray. There is a large guest sitting/dining room with Sky TV and DVD facilities, a log fire for colder evenings and an extensive book and map library. Evening meals or light suppers are available at Drynachan Beag by prior arrangement. Alternatively evening meals are available at the local hotel/bar in Invergarry and there are several choices of places to eat in Fort Augustus. There is a reliable local taxi service for those who don't wish to drive.
We overlook Loch Oich where sea otters have been seen. Behind the cottage is the Great Glen Cycle Path and Drynachan Wood, which is inhabited by red deer, red squirrel, pine martens and many species of wild birds. Invergarry is an ideal touring base, situated in the heart of the Great Glen. Days out could include Skye or the North West, Inverness and Loch Ness, Aviemore and the scenic Mountain Railway or Fort William and Glencoe. For those who feel it 'just has to be done', Ben Nevis is only half an hour away! The Invergarry link of the Great Glen Way (Fort William to Inverness) is directly above the bungalow and is ideal for walkers and mountain bike enthusiasts. The local area is excellent for all grades of walking, climbing, pony trekking, cycling, water sports and fishing, as well as Munro (over 60 Munros within an hour's drive)and Corbett 'bagging'.
