Fergus View Guesthouse is a former teacher's residence built as the 19th Century faded into the early years of the 20th Century. Originally it was built as a teacher's residence and its first occupant was Denis Kelleher, a native Irish speaker from Inchigeela, Co Cork.

Now it is occupied by Declan and Mary Kelleher and family. Like his grandfather Denis, Declan too is a primary school principal in the local area. Fergus View is run by Mary Kelleher, a former nurse and midwife, who combines running the business with raising her family.

Accommodation at Fergus View consists of 6 bedrooms - one family room, one twin room and four double rooms. All rooms are ensuite or have their own private bathroom.

Our season extends from Easter to the end of October, and the bed and breakfast rate is Euro 36 per person, per night. There is an additional single supplement if a single person is occupying a twin or a double.

Fergus View is located in Kilnaboy, two miles north of Corofin Village in Co Clare. Kilnaboy is situated in the famous Burren area of North Co Clare and is the gateway to a countryside of extraordinary scenic beauty.
