Deneview Guest House welcomes cyclists and has ideal facilities for your use. The C2C route crosses the main A68 trunk road at Rowley near Consett. Turn left (North) and follow the A68 for one mile to Castleside. Deneview Guest House is straight over the crossroads, on your right hand side about 25 yards past the Smelter's Arms pub (another place for great food).
Lock your cycle up safe in the double garage and use the drying and ironing facilities. Reward yourself with your en-suite hot shower and a nice hot cuppa! If you arrange it in advance, they'll prepare you a packed lunch for your journey. (Don't forget to clean and fill your water bottle.)
