Run by a Cornish family this lovely Victorian house offers a very high standard of bed and breakfast accommodation. It is situated on one of the quietest roads in Falmouth 100m from the sea and just a 2 minute stroll to the European Blue Flagged Gyllyngvase Beach. To the rear is a pretty south facing garden and sundeck overlooking the sea, the perfect spot to enjoy your welcome pot of tea on arrival or a quiet drink on your return from a busy day out. All our bedrooms are en-suite, some with bath and shower, some with shower only. Each is light, airy and individually and prettily decorated.
There is colour television in every room, as is a complimentary hostess tray. Each room also has a hairdryer and clock/radio alarm. Towels are supplied although we do ask that you bring your own beach towels.
Some of our rooms have lovely sea views. All of the rooms are very quiet being well away from the main road.
We have two, two bedroomed suites that sleep up to four people and are ideal for family and friends.
Bar: We have a small and cosy, but well stocked bar for our guests enjoyment. You are welcome to enjoy a quiet drink on the terrace, tell us about your day whilst unwinding in the bar or take a drink to your room to enjoy at your leisure.
Lounge: A large, south facing, traditional Victorian high ceilinged room with lovely sea views and comfy chairs. We have a good selection of local books and magazines, detailed maps of Cornwall (including Ordnance Survey walking maps for you to borrow) and board games for you to enjoy.
Sun Terrace: South facing with good sea views. A convivial place to enjoy a quiet drink or relax quietly in the sun with a book. |
