Bed and Breakfast Description

Here at Lansdowne House Bridlington we have 9 Bedrooms of which 7 are En-Suite. These are single bedrooms, double bedrooms and twin bedrooms, so we have a comfortable bedroom to suit your every requirement.

All of our comfortable centrally heated bedrooms are tastefully decorated and are fully equipped with:

For that extra special occasion why not have flowers, champagne or chocolates in your room on arrival, through prior arrangement, to set the perfect ambience for that romantic weekend.

You may check in from 12:00 – but if arriving earlier we will gladly store your luggage until your room is available. Check out is at 10:00am – although this can be flexible through prior arrangement.

If you need to cancel your reservation, please do so as far in advance as possible as we will endeavour to re-let your booked accommodation.

However, if this has not been possible, we do reserve the right to charge for the full stay booked.

For the comfort of all current and future guests, please refrain from smoking.

Please note that we reserve the right to charge for any damage caused by guests smoking. In a bedroom this may amount to additional night’s accommodation charge in order to allow the room to ventilate prior to re-letting.

Breakfast time is normally 8.30am – although we are very flexible for an early breakfast, before going on a trip. We serve fruit juice, cereal and a traditional cooked breakfast with copious amounts of toast, tea or coffee.

Children are always welcome at the Lansdowne House Bridlington and high-chairs are provided upon request.

Free parking permits are available for on-street parking.

Local Attractions

Beaches - Enjoy miles of golden sands on Bridlington’s two award winning beaches, 14 years running in the UK’s top 10. Relax and just watch the constant bustle of the busy harbour or browse around the splendid selection of shops. The North Beach – Blue Flag awarded again 2005, The South Beach – Resort Seaside Award. So you know that you will be guaranteed - top water quality - cleanliness - and seafront service. Also for those relaxing hours on the beach you will have sand that is 2nd best in Britain for sandcastle building and sculpting.

The Harbour – Bridlington Harbour is still a working harbour where it is possible to watch the fishermen preparing their trawlers or unloading their daily catch.

An essential part of any coastal holiday is a pleasure cruise or fishing trip.

Leisure cruises available with trips on the Jolly Roger, Shark Attack or the Yorkshire Belle. The Yorkshire Belle offers 1 hour, coastal cruise from Bridlington harbour to Flamborough Head and longer cruises, 2 hours, to the Bempton Cliffs RSPB Bird sanctuary. There are various boat owners who offer fishing trips. If you require a short trip or all day trip there is an outing to suit all. For those who prefer life at a faster pace why not take a thrilling speedboat ride across Bridlington Bay.

The Harbour Heritage Museum includes photographs and the history of the harbour.

The Promenade – enjoy a leisurely stroll along the prom taking in all the sights of the glorious beaches and fabulous scenery. If you feel tired take a ride on the seafront Land Train. Children will love all the fun of the seaside with the traditional amusement arcades and fairground rides.

Bridlington Leisure World offers a great day indoors for the entire family. The attraction includes wave pool with tropical rainstorm and water slide. The main and learner pools. Fitness studio, sauna, steam room, sun beds. Theatre, family entertainment centre with shows and cabarets. Softplay and bouncy castles.

Directions - coming in from south side of Bridlington, go past the spa, through the pelican crossing and take the 2nd right into the town centre - follow road round to left, go into the right hand lane sign posted Flamborough - turn right at Iceland - then 1st left, into Marshall Avenue - straight down road past the bus station turn-off until the bottom of the road - we are directly on your right-hand side.

Directions - coming in from north side of Bridlington, follow the signs for the town centre – when you see Leisure World on the left - take the right hand turning at The Greyhound Public House into Lansdowne Road and we are at the end of the road on the left-hand side.
