Aghnacarra Guest House is set in a delightful spot for a bed and breakfast break in the heart of the Fermanagh Lakeland. A short drive from the busy town of Enniskillen, it is ideally situated to explore the many sights and attractions of the area or to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of a rural environment.
This superb Guest House was purpose built to offer guests high standards of bed and breakfast accommodation with a large guest lounge, attractive and spacious dining room, a games room with pool table and licensed residents bar. There are seven well appointed bedrooms, all ensuite with Mira showers, tea/coffee facilities. Smoker / Non-Smoker lounge and bedrooms.
There are also special facilities which are ideal for sporting groups, golfers, cyclists and walkers. Fishermen and anglers are particularly well catered for, with separate drying room, bait delivery service and storage, fridges, licenses and permits. Large car park.
Guest Bedrooms: All guest bedrooms are ensuite and have an attractive clean and fresh decor. Facilities include Mira electronic showers, shaver points, toiletries and hospitality trays for tea/coffee. Hairdryers are available on request.
There are 4 twin bedrooms and 1 single bedroom on the ground floor with 2 double or family rooms on the 1st floor. These have a double bed and 2 single beds in one room and a double bed with 1 single in the other.
Guest Lounge: Our lounge is ideal for relaxing and watching TV. The decor is attractive with comfortable furnishings and wonderful views of the lake.
Dining Room: Our spacious Dining Room has separate tables and large patio windows that also provide wonderful views of the lake.
Meals: Full three course evening meals are served in the Dining Room at 7pm and for anglers wanting to fish for longer we also provide snack meals in the residents bar.
Residents Bar: What better way to end a busy day exploring or fishing than relaxing in our residents bar. |

Aghnacarra Guesthouse is in an ideal location, set among the fish laden lakes and the fabulous River Erne where some of our regular guests have enjoyed catching up to 400lb of bream at a time. The River Erne at Carrybridge, which often produces prolific catches is just 500 yards down the road and Belle Isle and West Isle stretches are just around the corner.
We have nine golf courses in our vicinity, most of them within thirty-five minutes drive from Aghnacarra Guest House.

Caving & Potholing - Explore Fermanagh caves with qualified cave leader instructors. Venture into remote places where few have gone.
Cycling - Fermanagh's quiet country lanes and spectacular scenery is a cyclist's dream.
Hillwalking - There are 25 listed walks on a variety of surfaces.
Horse Riding & Treking - Ulster's Lakeland Equestrian Park at Necarn
Ornothology - Castlecaldwell, Crom Castle and many offshore islands are designated bird sanctuaries, monitored by the R.S.P.B.
Watersports - Fermanagh has a number of watersport centres offering jet skiing, canoeing, banana boat rides etc.,

Location

From Belfast: Head west on M1 then A4 towards ENNISKILLEN. Turn left at LISBELLAW and turn left again at Wild Duck Pub (opposite newsagents) for CARRYBRIDGE. When you reach Carrybridge Marina, turn left and you will find us just 300m along the road on the right.
From Dublin: Take the N3 through, NAVAN & CAVAN. Through BELTURBET and follow signs towards Enniskillen. After DERRYLIN look for the right hand turn for CARRYBRIDGE. You will go over the iron bridge at the Inishmore Viaduct. Keep straight, go over Carrybridge and you will find us 300m along the road on the right.
From Sligo: Take the A4 towards ENNISKILLEN. Take right turn to BELLANALECK, go straight on through and take left turn to CARRYBRIDGE. You will go over the iron bridge at the Inishmore Viaduct. Keep straight, go over Carrybridge and you will find us 300m along the road on the right.
We are also conveniently situated for visitors to the towns of LISNASKEA & MAGUIRESBRIDGE and the surrounding area.
