This 16th Century farmhouse has been meticulously restored, retaining its rural character, while offering modern facilities and comfort. There is a choice of three rooms, one double en-suite, and two double rooms with shared bathroom - all with TV and tea-making facilities. A full English breakfast will be served in the dining room each morning.
Spectacular Marshwood Vale
Set in the idyllic countryside of West Dorset, Harmshay Farm overlooks the spectacular Marshwood Vale. The farm is situated in the middle of a vast network of public footpaths, surrounded by native wildlife. If you would like to explore, a pack lunch can be purchased from the farm. For those of you who do not arrive on foot, there are spacious parking facilities.
World Heritage Site
The area is bordered by the Jurassic Coastline of Lyme Regis, which was recently awarded the status of World Heritage Site for it’s outstanding natural beauty and historic fossil finds. Just 7 miles away, Lyme Regis is a great place to enjoy a day on the beach, or a delicious evening meal of local seafood.
Westcountry Entertainment
Closer to home is the famous Bottle Inn, home to the Stinging Nettle Eating World Championships and beer festival – held every June (book early!). Within walking distance of Harmshay Farm, this charming and friendly country pub offers an extensive dinner menu including local produce. At weekends there is the chance to enjoy live music and entertainment.
