The fabulous property is situated a mere 15 minutes from Loch Ness and 1/2 mile from Inverness golf course. Graded Five Star by Vist Scotland, we are also committed to the Green Tourism scheme. Top quality bed and breakfast lodgings and a special place to stay for your holiday vacation. Only one mile to the city centre but in a pleasant residential area. Be environmentally friendly, whilst you enjoy a little luxury at an affordable price!

Clach Mhuilinn is a No Smoking bed and breakfast home with a lovely garden in a pleasant residential area.

Clach Mhuilinn offers two guest rooms for two guests each with top quality accommodation, food and service. You can be sure of clean, comfortable en suite B&B rooms, a friendly welcome from hosts, Jacqi and Iain Elmslie, and delicious varied breakfasts with lots of choices. We enjoy sharing our home with guests from all over the world and look forward to meeting new ones.

B&B Location

To INVERNESS:

From EDINBURGH - about 3½ hours by car, bus or train.
From GLASGOW - 3½-4 hours by car, bus or train.
From LONDON - about 8-10 hours driving time plus “comfort” stops.
RAIL journeys from London take about 8 hours and usually involve a change of train in Edinburgh.

BY CAR

Coming north via A9 from Perth, pass under the only bridge on the A9 nearing Inverness, then immediately turn off left to “Culcabock”. Take the last exit from the large roundabout , straight on past the hospital and then the mini-roundabout , pass the golf course, straight on at the next lights. Then take the second left into Harris Road. Clach Mhuilinn is about 200 yards along on the left.

From the east & Aberdeen, via the A96, pass under the A9 at the large roundabout. At the next roundabout turn left and then sharp right at the mini-roundabout. Then as above.

Coming south on the A9, straight on at the big roundabout after the Kessock Bridge and the Moray Firth. Ignore the next turn-off (to Aberdeen) then take the next turn-off left (B9006) just by the flyover bridge. At the lights turn left to Inverness, crossing the bridge to join the roundabout as above and follow above directions.

From the west (A82 Fort William and Loch Ness), cross the river by the main bridge in the right-hand lane. Straight on following the road as it curves round and up the hill (Castle Street). Take the first left (Old Edinburgh Road). Straight on at the lights. Follow the road as it curves to the left and down the hill to the junction then turn right and first left into Harris Road.
