Sue Hill welcomes you to "The Heron's Cove™", Goleen Harbour, West Cork, near Mizen Head, Ireland's most south-westerly point where Fastnet Rock Lighthouse lights the sky. Comfortable ensuite rooms with sea view and all amenities.

The sky brilliant with stars. Goleen 300 metres with its 4 public bars. Quality Tourist Board Approved Accommodation. Hotel Standards at B&B prices. Oceanside Restaurant with Fresh Fish and Wine on the Harbour. Specialising in fresh organic local produce, Lobster, Prawns, Crab, Steaks, Lamb and Duck. Homemade breads, Desserts and Ice creams.

Tantalising selection of wines on The Heron's Cove ™ Wine rack. Seaside Terrace. Book for Dinner, Sunday Lunch, Small Functions and Special Occasions. Open for B&B (with full Irish breakfast) and Dinner all year round ( Bookings essential October to April). A la Carte Restaurant open daily May to September

West Cork would not be the same without its pubs. In Goleen there are four, only 300m. from The Heron's Cove. The Lobster Pot, hosts: Anne and Finbarr Coughlan, Denny's, hosts: Denny O'Meara and one of his daughters, Laura, Norma's, host: Norma Sheehan and The Fastnet, hosts: Denny and Breda O'Donoghue.

Hill, beach and byways walking is a pleasure round the Mizen. Apart from our busy summer season from midJuly to midAugust solitude and harmony with nature are our greatest blessing. The sound of the birds and the ocean are predominant.



Visit Mizen Head Visitor Centre, a must see, Brow Head, Crookhaven, Schull Planetarium, Bantry House.
Tour the Mizen, Sheep's Head and Beara Peninsulas.
In Goleen, Schull and Ballydehob, Skibbereen Durrus and Bantry there are many interesting shops.


Shop at The Spinning Wheel in Glengarriff and Quill's in Kenmare and John Field's Supermarket, in Skibbereen.
