Hanover House is not a guest house but a family home, which provides a relaxed, informal atmosphere for those visiting this exquisite town on business or pleasure. With 3 comfortable bedrooms, each with either private or en-suite bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities, it offers visitors the use of the drawing room to watch television or a DVD, listen to music or browse through the extensive library of books covering a myriad of topics.

Local Attractions
Hanover House provides an excellent focus for visiting the Cotswolds, Malverns or Forest of Dean. It is located in the heart of Regency Cheltenham, where a large number of excellent restaurants suiting all culinary tastes are to be found within 3 minutes walk. The superb, fashionable shopping centres located within Montpellier and along the wide tree-lined Promenade, hosting regular street farmer’s and continental markets are literally around the corner, as are the renowned Ladies College and the Royal Well coach station. Cheltenham Spa railway station is 800 yards away, a pleasant walk along the bank of the River Chelt following the pedestrianised parkland route of the former Honeybourne railway line.

Entertainment in the town is also widely available and ranges from festivals and exhibitions that take place on the Racecourse, a mile and a half away, or in the nearby Montpellier Gardens, to shows, festivals and concerts at the Pitville Pump Room and municipal venues. There is also a variety of bars and clubs, a multiplex cinema, and three excellent theatres.

Exit M5 at Junction 11. Follow signs for Cheltenham. After approximately 1 mile pass Sainsbury’s on left, then immediately after TESCO on right, turn right. 1st set of traffic lights turn left past Waitrose, then turn left at next lights onto St George’s Road. Approximately 500 yards on left, behind a tall hedge with several access points is Hanover House. St George’s Road carpark is opposite. Parking is available outside the house.



From the A40

Enter Cheltenham from the A40 and follow signs to the town centre. Follow the one way system into Bath Road and go over the lights until you reach a junction next to the Playhouse Theatre. Turn right into Oriel Road, carry on over a set of traffic lights. As you approach a second set of traffic lights try and get into the middle lane. Go straight over the lights, across the promenade up onto St George's Road. . Approximately 500 yards on the right, behind a tall hedge with several access points is Hanover House. St George’s Road carpark is opposite. Parking is available outside the house.



From the M4 and Swindon

Leave the M4 at Junction 15 and take the A419 towards Cirencester. Before reaching Cirencester take the A417 sign posted Gloucester & Cheltenham. Carry on the A417 for about 14 miles. At the Air Balloon Pub turn left at the roundabout onto the A436 to Gloucester for about 2 miles, then turn right onto the A46 to Cheltenham. Follow signs for Cheltenham Town Centre via the Shurdington Road and Bath Road. Join the one way system, turn left onto Oriel Road, carry on over a set of lights. As you approach a second set of traffic lights try and get into the middle lane. Go straight over the lights, across the promenade up onto St George's Road. Approximately 500 yards on the right, behind a tall hedge with several access points is Hanover House. St George’s Road carpark is opposite. Parking is available outside the house.
