Bed and Breakfast Description

It is a delightful family run home, superbly decorated and furnished throughout.

We are only 200 metres from a sandy beach at Ardnahinch, and within walking distance of the famous Ballymaloe House and cookery school. Garryvoe Hotel & Restaurant is 1 mile away.

Stephen Pearce Pottery is a must to visit, and mouth watering smoked salmon can be obtained in the village.

The local pubs are very friendly and provide traditional Irish music every weekend.

Large dining area and along with open log fires and central heating to make your stay at White Lodge B&B a comfortable and memorable one.

Ample private parking is available for guests use.

White Lodge Bed & Breakfast is ideal for anglers as we have magnificent beaches on either side.

The bed & breakfast is a 25 miles drive from Cork City, 40 minutes from Cork airport, 45 minutes from Cork ferry port and 45 minutes from Blarney.
10 miles from Midleton

The nearest train station is in Cork city. You would need to get a bus to Shanagarry from the bus station.

The Ballycotton bus passes through Shanagarry, just ask the driver to stop at Burkes Caravan Park, which is approx 100 metres from White Lodge.

By Car;
From Cork city or airport follow N25 signs that say Waterford. Outside Midleton, there is a sign that says Cloyne and Shanagarry, DO NOT TAKE THIS ROAD AS IT IS NOT SIGNPOSTED VERY WELL. Stay on main N25 until you get to Castlemartyr, there is a set of traffic lights, turn right, it is signposted Shanagarry r632. Stay on road do not turn off anywhere for approx 5 miles.
You will come over a hill and see the seaside, you will pass a hotel called Garryvoe, you are 1 mile from accomodation. Stay on the main road for 1 mile. As you approach Shanagarry village you will see a sign on your left that says pottery, we are the third house on the right, after the pottery sign.
