Catherine and Pat Quinlan welcome you to their home situated on Dalysfort Road, Salthill, a quiet residential area, within walking distance to promenade and its sandy beaches.

Cappa Veagh” is a non smoking family owned Bed and Breakfast approved by the Irish Tourist Board offering a friendly welcome in a relaxed atmosphere with off street parking. Centrally heated throughout, the house features 4 spacious guest bedrooms all with private en-suite bathrooms, cable TV, orthopaedic beds electric blankets and hairdryers.

Breakfast, is freshly cooked to order from the menu and can be enjoyed in the company of the other guests discussing the nearby attractions to be explored. Following a friendly chat regarding the local places of interest guests can relax and plan their holiday program.


When visiting the local attractions you the can enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of Galway's pubs, music halls, restaurants, theatres, cinema, and art galleries. You can explore the city and its medieval history on guided walking tours or by taking the open topped coach you can extend the tour to the outlining areas of the City. Within easy reach are Swimming, (both indoor and outdoor), 4 championship golf courses, tennis, pitch and putt, horse riding, fresh water fishing for salmon and trout including sea angling.

Galway city is just 2 km away with frequent bus service direct from you accommodation. With or without your own transport “Cappa Veagh” is an ideal base for day trips to explore Galway Bay area from Connemara to the Burren with its lovely mountains, lakes, Abbey and Castles details of which can be found in the local attractions site.

There are daily coach tours on all trips and daily boat trips to the Aran Islands from Rosaveal journey from Galway a short. Why not fly with Aer Aran from Inverin Airport, or combine a flight and a boat trip with connecting coach services from Galway to Inverin and Rosaveal.

Approaching Galway City, ignore City centre signs and follow the Salthill signs of the R336.

On the sea front, between the Waterfront Hotel and Leisure land you will find Dalysfort Road leading up from the sea and running parallel to the road into Leisure land.
