Bed and Breakfast Description

The Great Barn Country Guest House is situated half a mile off the A48 in the Vale of Glamorgan, mid way
between Cowbridge and Cardiff at the village of
Bonvilston.

This 18th Century Corn Barn has been converted into a comfortable modern guest house whilst retaining many of the original features. Its position overlooking the Vale provides magnificent views, a restful
Garden, safe parking, and a warm welcome.

There are six rooms with en-suite facilities.
The Guest House is open all year and is an ideal
location for both business visitors and tourists who want a base from which to explore the area.

Within a five minute drive is the charming country town of Cowbridge which has built a reputation for fine shopping and excellent restaurants.
Cardiff City Centre is within 15 minutes by car and
The Museum of Welsh Life at St. Fagans.

Arrival By Road. M4 Approach.
Leave the M4 motorway at Junction 33 onto the A4232 towards Cardiff.
Take the first exit (Culverhouse Cross) follow the signs round for A48 (cowbridge Bridgend). The first village is St Nicholas, the next is Bonvilston. Go past the Red Lion Pub on the right down the hill past the village shop, take the next right (sign Tre-dodridge and The Great Barn) , Up the hill 1/2 a mile,
turn right at the sign for the Great Barn Guest House , straight down the drive you will see the entrance to the Great Barn Guest House
