Description

Woodhouse is a 12th Century farmhouse with views of Tutbury Castle and the beautiful Staffordshire countryside. Tutbury is close to Burton on Trent, convenient for the Derbyshire Dales and the East and West Midlands. All rooms are en-suite with tea and coffee making facilities, colour television and individually furnished.

Visitors to Woodhouse are offered full English Breakfast in the traditional farmhouse dining room. Whether you plan to spend your day exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside and its historical features, or you have a schedule of important business meetings to attend, you will start the day well at Woodhouse with a wholesome home cooked breakfast.

Local Attractions
There are various places of interest locally such as the castle, Shugborough Hall (former home of Lord Lichfield), Sudbury Hall and Calke Abbey, all owned by the National Trust.

At the local glass works in the village you can see live blowing of glass daily and there are many good eateries in the area. Derbyshire is able to boast the historic Chatsworth House, home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire and other great places of interest such as Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall, each just a short drive from Woodhouse.

Woodhouse farm can be found just outside Tutbury village, looking down over the Dove Valley. From the crossroads in the centre of the Village (by the Post Office), just head out past the castle (on your right) and you will find us on the left about half a mile from the village.
