Bed and Breakfast Description
Expect a warm welcome from John and Marie in our family home B&B. Lovely quiet rooms and a peaceful location just minutes from all the best that the historic city has to offer. John’s breakfasts are a wonderful start to your day. A great place to stay if you are working in Winchester, visiting friends or relatives, coming to party or for a wedding or conference. An ideal spot for visitors touring England (with free parking, near the coach stop and railway station). There are three rooms available: Yellow room, a large double bed room with outstanding view. Very quiet. Blue room, a comfortable double bed room overlooking the quiet garden. Garden room. Available for use as double, twin or single. This room is downstairs. (All rooms available as singles)



Local Attractions
A convenient place to stay for exploring the historic city of Winchester. Discover outstanding historic buildings, monuments, sculptures, and beautiful waterways, while across Winchester bells chime the hours or ring for services. A tour of the huge cathedral is genuinely moving. The Round Table is impressive and mysterious. The old barracks are stunning, and offer a grand tour through the upper town. There are wooded hills to climb, and cool riverside paths to follow, while our streets and the cathedral close are famed for their many attractive historic buildings, especially pubs!. Within sight of the BnB are the ruined remains of Wolvesey Castle.

B&B Location

We are in the centre of Winchester, close to a well known landmark, a statue of King Alfred in the High Street (The Broadway). From the M3 take any exit for Winchester and follow signs for city centre. Colebrook Street is close to the City Mill and the “Bishop on the Bridge” pub. Colebrook Place is a cul de sac off Colebrook Street.
