Bed and Breakfast Description

Turnberry House was built in the Edwardian period. It is an established guest house located in a select suburb of York. We are situated very close to the city centre and its historical culture, restaurants and tourist attractions. Very close by are the university, Fulford golf course and the famous York racecourse.

There is excellent and regular public transport plus a pleasant riverside walk into the city centre.

All rooms are en-suite and of a very high standard. We provide an excellent breakfast with a choice menu. Whether you are on holiday, business, golfing or racing you can be sure of a guaranteed service and a warm welcome at Turnberry House.

Local Attractions
York is home to the largest Gothic Cathedral in Europe - York Minster, and there are many other churches to visit.

Clifford's Tower is the medieval remains of York Castle which is perched on its high mound above the river.
