Description

The Woodlands Lodge Hotel is a charming Luxury Country House hotel set in three acres that open directly onto Hampshire's New Forest. As well as a hotel, The Woodlands Lodge also has a restaurant open to non-residents and conference facilities available for hire.

You need a break, with the minimum of hassle. It has to be really relaxing. At Woodlands you will experience real luxury but without the ostentation that sometimes goes with it.

Standing within the beautiful gardens this elegant Georgian house has been refurbished to a superb standard. All 16 rooms:

are en-suite with shower and whirlpool bath*,
have television with remote control and fast-text,
hairdryer,
writing desk,
facilities for making tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
Room service is also available.


Local Attractions
The New Forest offers excellent accommodation, scrumptious food, amazing landscape and wandering wildlife.

Although there are many attractions in and around the New Forest or further afield in southern England, you may like to spend some time with some of our 'outdoor pursuits':-
Get together with a few friends to enjoy a game of Pétanque (Boules),
A full size chess set could provide hours of amusement,
Or you may just want to relax in the gardens.
 

Location
We are easily reachable, with the M27 only 5 minutes away, Southampton City Centre only 15 minutes away, and Heathrow and Gatwick airports only one and half hours away.

Coming from the West:
Turn off at Junction 1 of the M27, turn right and go down to the second roundabout ("Cadham")
Take Southampton Road (A336). One mile along this road you will pass a public house on the right called "The Haywain"
After quarter of a mile turn right and carry on about a mile and a half into the forest.
The Woodlands Lodge Hotel will be found on the right.
