A warm welcome awaits you at the Royal Norfolk where we have a long tradition as one of Bognor Regis' leading hotels.

The hotel is within easy reach of many West Sussex attractions, prominently located in an enviable seafront location, set in its own grounds, and with ample car parking.

The Royal Norfolk has 42 bedrooms, all with:
en-suite facilities

tea and coffee making facilities.

Most rooms are recently refurbished, and many overlook the lawns, promenade, and sea.

The hotel plumbing and wiring have all been extensively improved in recent years and a modern fire detection system is fitted throughout.

 

Bognor Regis Attractions

 
Bognor's record for sunshine means you should see plenty of the sun. The town has no less than three beaches in the Good Beach Guide, one of which has even won an EnCams Seaside Award. As the sea is just beyond the hotel grounds you can easily be tempted to take a dip on a hot summer's afternoon.

There are plenty of fascinating places within easy driving range for an afternoon's exploring or a full day out:

Go west and you find the wildlife rich and scenic areas of Pagham Harbour and Chichester Harbour or the craft and tea shops of picturesque Bosham.

Stray southward onto the Selsey peninsular and you can find the Northcommon Farm Centre.

Go north west and discover the historic centre of Chichester for shopping or to see the cathedral and the Roman Palace at Fishbourne. Explore beyond Chichester and you will find West Dean gardens.

Go north and visit Goodwood Park or enjoy spectacular walks and views on the South Downs. A bit further over the downs and you find Parham House and Gardens nestling in its deer park.

Go north east and explore 16 acres of wood and meadow at Fairmile Bottom, or enjoy the antiques centres, magnificent Arundel Castle and the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust Centre on the Arun.

Give your youngsters a treat at the Flying Fortress play centre

Go east and you can enjoy the wilder areas of coastline around Climping, (a Site of Special Scientific Interest) or look for fossils on Littlehampton West Beach. A bit further and you can feed the swans or watch the nautical activities at Littlehampton Harbour.

Arun Leisure Centre - local indoor swimming pool, just a five minute drive away.

Having reached Chichester, from the A29 or A2459, proceed as follows:
Continue on the A259 across two mini roundabouts by a pink public house, past a parade of a dozen or so shops, and eventually to a major roundabout.
At the major roundabout you want the third exit (at about one O'clock).
Continue ahead until you reach a major junction with traffic lights.
Continue straight ahead at the lights (past the cinema) into Canada Grove.
Continue straight ahead as the the road swings left then right and Canada Grove runs into Argyle Street.
When you come to a T junction with a small grocers ahead of you, then you turn right.
Another hundred meters or so brings you to a small roundabout on the seafront at which you turn right.
The hotel entrance is about a hundred meters on your right between white pillars.
