Bed and Breakfast Description

This outstanding example of an early 16th century farmhouse, built in brick and flint is located on farmland on the North Downs of Kent. With its inglenook fireplaces, antique furniture and low timbered ceilings, you can be assured of a warm welcome and an abundance of atmosphere.

The bedrooms are very tastefully furnished, fully centrally heated and are supplied with a hair-dryer and tea and coffee-making facilities.
Breakfast and dinner are served in the farmhouse dining room and you can relax in our oak-beamed lounge before retiring to your room for the night.

Local Attractions
If you are interested in viewing some of the great historic country houses in this beautiful part of the world, there is nowhere in the UK with more history on its doorstep than The Old Farmhouse.

Other than the fascinating sights of London, we have in close proximity, to name but a few, Hever Castle, Knole Park, Sissinghurst Castle, Chartwell, Scotney Castle, Leeds Castle, Bodiam Castle and Quebec House.

Within 1 mile is Biggin Hill Airfield, still operating, with its beautiful chapel and wealth of history from World War II.
 

B&B Location
With central London also only 23 miles away, if you wish to stay in a quiet rural environment, and yet be able to see the sights of London, this is a perfect location. Bromley main line station is 20 minutes away by car and there is a regular service into London Victoria which may take as little as 15 minutes. There is also a regular bus service which stops directly outside the property, and services run between Kent, Surrey and London, by connection.
