Dating back over 300 years, the Grade II listed house is full of character with oak beamed rooms and open fires. Although no longer a working farm, there are 3 acres of gardens, private parking, stabling and paddocks allowing us to welcome guests with dogs and horses. You can be assured of a relaxed and comfortable visit as the eight bedrooms in both the house and Garden Rooms have recently been upgraded and refurbished to the highest of standards resulting in the recent award of 4 diamonds by the Visit Britain tourist board and the AA.
The Manor House's seven guest bedrooms provide a variety of accommodation including a twin, doubles a treble and a family room. The spacious rooms in the house are individually coordinated, whilst retaining their antique furnishings. Comfort is paramount, with fresh linen, snug quilts and quality pocketed spring mattresses. Oak beams and antique fireplaces help increase the welcoming ambience. Additionally there are two ground floor rooms and a family suite in our garden chalet block, which is adjacent to the house. Each has an individual entrance, providing easier access for those less able.
The rooms are furnished in a contemporary style with fresh modern decor, but retaining a homely feel with an emphasis on comfort, including new quality beds, pocketed spring mattresses and comfortable quilts. |
