Description

Renovated, re-designed and re-launched in February 2003, this boutique hotel provides a tranquil and relaxing retreat from the city. Ideally located a mere 45 minutes from central London our “restaurant with rooms” is situated in the picturesque village of Cookham Dean. This is the second of joint ventures between restaurateur, Mark Fuller and celebrated Chef, Garry Hollihead.

Set amongst an acre of beautifully manicured lawns, the Inn’s unassuming country house appearance conceals a sumptuous and sophisticated interior. A warming log fire, the original wood beamed bar, huge red velvet sofas and enormous armchairs all combine to create a traditional feel with a little touch of Louis Vuitton!

Our nine bedrooms have been thoughtfully designed and decorated; each room is scattered with authentic antiques and contains a unique selection of furniture to match its individual style. All bedrooms have private en-suite bathrooms and are equipped with Sky television, CD and DVD player, direct dial telephone, mini bar along with tea and coffee making facilities. Guests may also indulge in a little pampering by taking advantage of unlimited use of our outdoor hot tub.

Local Attractions
An ideal venue to get away from it all. However if you yearn for the sights and sounds of the big city, the nearby train takes you straight to the nation's capital in little more than half an hour.
 

Location
M) for about 3 miles until you reach the large roundabout and take the first exit to “Bisham”.

M4: Exit at junction 8/9 and take the A404 (M) towards “Marlow, Henley & Wycombe”. Continue along the A404 (M) for about 4 miles until you reach the large roundabout and take the first exit to “Bisham”.

Take the road through “Bisham” towards “Marlow”. Continue along this road for approximately 2 miles and turn right onto “Quarry Wood Road” (signpost to “Cookham”). Once you reach the top of the hill, follow the diversion signs to “The Inn On The Green”. After approximately 1 & ½ miles, turn right into “Hills Lane”, from here “Cookham Dean” is signposted. Continue up “Hills Lane” and turn right at the “War Memorial”. Please drive slowly and follow this small lane bearing left at “The Inn On The Green” signpost.

From Maidenhead: From the city centre ring road, follow the signs to “Slough” on the A4. Take the first exit to “Cookham” at the roundabout. Once you have reached “Cookham”, turn left onto the “High Street” and then follow the directions from “Cookham” (as above).

From Marlow: Cross the suspension bridge towards “Bisham” and bear left into “Quarry Wood Road”. Once you reach the top of the hill, follow the diversion signs to “The Inn On The Green”. After approximately 1 mile, turn right into “Hills Lane”, from here “Cookham Dean” is signposted. Continue up “Hills Lane” and turn right at the “War Memorial”. Please drive slowly and follow this small lane bearing left at “The Inn On The Green” signpost.
