Description

The Croft is ideally set in an acre of secluded gardens overlooking picturesque Cockwood Harbour and the Exe estuary, approximately one mile from Starcross in Devon.

There is a comfortable lounge where you can relax watch large screen television or browse through numerous tourist information leaflets, and plan your days.

Our large well appointed rooms, C.H., beverage making facilities, H&C, razor points, All rooms colour T.V. with various channels. Rooms have shower & WC en-suite.

Local Attractions
We are the nearest Guest House to the nature reserve at Dawlish Warren with 2 miles of sandy beaches, home to many resident and migrant birds.

We are ideally situated for touring moors or visiting attractions including nearby Powderham Castle, the historic home of the Earl of Devon.

Bird Watching, Walking, Horse Racing & Riding are all nearby as well as Golf (open to visitors) and something of interest for train enthusiasts.

For those just looking for a relaxing break and soaking up the sun, & feel sure you will not be disappointed with your stay at "The Croft".

* Leave the M5 at Junction 30.

Follow signs for A379 Dawlish, passing through villages of Kenton & Starcross.

On arriving at Cockwood Harbour, do not go over bridge but carry on for 40 yards.

The entrance to The Croft is on the right hand side.
