Bed and Breakfast Description

Sunnyside South is a friendly, family home in Forncett End, a quiet village situated between Wymondham and Long Stratton. It is an easy 25 minute drive along the B1113 to Norwich or Diss and is an ideal base for visiting South Norfolk.

There are double, twin and family rooms available, with discount given for stays of 4 nights or more.

We can now provide disabled facilities, and for the younger ones, we can supply a cot and a high chair if requested.

Your breakfast eggs are provided by our own hens and your bath and shower water is solar heated.

You are very welcome to enjoy our outdoor heated pool.

Local Attractions
We are less than an hour's scenic drive from any one of the popular local beaches.

You could see the seals at Blakeney Point, go crabbing at Walberswick or visit the RNLI stations at Sheringham and Cromer.

Why not take in the charm of Southwold, stroll the promenade at Great Yarmouth or build your sandcastles on the beach wherever you please.
 

B&B Location
From the A11
Drive past Attleborough and turn left off the A11 after a service station/Little Chef/Burger King (signposted to Wymondham.) Right at mini roundabout then first right again going back over A11 - (via two mini roundabouts). Follow signs to Spooner Row. Go over level crossing. At the T-junction opposite The Boars Pub, go straight over. At end of this road turn right, then first left into Broom Road. At the end of this road turn right. After approx. 2 miles of open countryside you will come to crossroads by Jolly Farmers pub. Go straight over into Long Stratton Road. Then take first right into Tabernacle Lane, then first right again into West Road. Go past Smith Maltings Farm, over two tiny speed bumps. Sunnyside South B & B is the pink house on the left immediately behind the bungalow called Chapel View.

From Norwich city centre.
Follow signs for the A140 to IPSWICH. You will cross a largish bridge over the River Yare. At a pub called the Marsh Harrier, there is a set of traffic lights. Turn RIGHT at these traffic lights onto the B1113 signposted Keswick/Swardeston/New Buckenham. Stay on this road and after approx. 9 miles you will come to the village of Tacolneston. Pass through Tacolneston but turn LEFT opposite a pub called The Jolly Farmers. You are now in Long Stratton Road. Take first RIGHT into Tabernacle Lane and then almost immediately first RIGHT again into West Road. Go past the Smith Maltings farm. Pass over two small speed bumps. Then take first driveway on the left. Sunnyside South is a pink house behind the bungalow called Chapel View.
