Our BNB is a local building of historic interest. We accept payment in cash. Our establishment is fitted with central heating throughout. All or some rooms have ensuite facilities. We have fishing opportunities nearby. We're sorry, we do not accept pets.

Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Silverdale Hotel is your ideal base for exploring the nearby Lakes of Derwentwater, Buttermere and Ullswater, the Borrowdale valley, and the mountains of Skiddaw, Hevellyn and numerous others. Many of the well known walking and tourist routes begin at Keswick.


Our comfortable rooms are all individually decorated. For easier access we have a ground floor ensuite room with bath available. All rooms come with colour TV. There is a Family room available. Tea & coffee making facilities are in all rooms.

For the convenience of our guests we have a private car park. For their comfort we have a spacious lounge bar.

If you are heading out for a hard day's walking, enquire about taking a packed lunch with you.

 

Keswick Attractions

 
Keswick is the ideal centre for exploring the Lake District's beautiful lakes and mountains, and is well equipped to serve your every need with especially good shops for tourists and the serious fell walker.

Visitors to Keswick can enjoy such amenities as the Theatre, Cinema, Leisure Pool and the Cumberland Pencil Museum. The parks include facilities for Tennis and Golf and you can take boat trips on Lake Derwentwater or go Pony Trekking.

From the M6 take the A6 though Penrith and on to Keswick.

In Keswick turn off by the station and then straight into Blencathra Road.
