The Sea Trout Inn is an idyllic, traditional Devon Inn dating back to the 15th Century situated in the beautiful surroundings of the Dart Valley, near Totnes.
The surrounding area has a lot to offer whether it be for a gentle walk along the River Dart, visiting local historical buildings such a Buckfast Abbey, or participating in outdoor activities like fishing, golf or shooting. Superbly located in the South Hams for exploring The English Riviera with Torquay being only a 15 minute drive away.
Wonderfully located for a restful weekend break, business meeting, lunch or a romantic dinner, The Sea Trout is a welcoming and friendly place for all.
We have 10 en-suite letting rooms. All of the rooms are either double or twin, individually controlled heating, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and a colour television, with either bath or shower.
We offer good food in either our more formal conservatory restuarant or less formal in both of our relaxing and comfortable bars. Our restaurant overlooks our patio gardens where on fine evenings you can enjoy an excellent range of wines or perhaps one our real ales. For the cooler evenings and nights, we have traditional open log fires to warm yourselves by.
Whether you wish to enjoy the unspoilt riverside walks nearby, perhaps taking advantage of our fishing rights at pools and white water on both sides of the Inn, or investigating the river's source high up on romantic Dartmoor, we are located in an ideal and beautiful spot from which to base yourself. |
