St Margaret's Hotel is situated in a relaxing and peaceful location, less than a five minute walk from Southsea's beautiful Solent seafront.

St Margaret's hotel features thirteen en-suite bedrooms, including twins, doubles and family rooms. All of them are tastefully designed and furnished, each with tea and coffee making facilities.

Whether your stay is for business or pleasure, St Margaret's offers guests a welcoming and relaxing environment.

St Margaret's hotel welcome begins as soon as you enter the spacious hall with its comfortable easy chairs and open fire which sets the tone for the whole house.

On the ground floor you will find our reception area, lounge, licensed bar and an attractive Breakfast room which overlooks a very pretty garden at the rear of the Hotel.

We promise to do all we can to ensure your stay is relaxing and enjoyable.

St Margaret's Hotel is less than a five minute walk from the 4 mile long seafront promenade, one of the most popular resorts in Portsmouth. Whether you are planning a holiday or a short visit, Southsea offers a variety of both relaxing and interesting places with its magnificent gardens and parks (Canoe Lake below) and also tennis courts, Bowling green and a Pitch and Putt course.

During your stay with us, you can explore the jewels of Britain's Naval Heritage with its historic ships, Nelson's flagship HMS Victory alongside HMS Warrior, Britain's first iron clad battleship (right).

Or You can enjoy the City of Portsmouth with its Naval harbour, and the newly developed Gunwharf Quays which incorporates the Spinnaker Tower, shopping centre, restaurants and bars along with cinemas, discos or bowling. And many more!
