Description

Welcome to the Mill House Hotel. Our location, just outside the village of Sharnbrook, on the banks of the Great Ouse, is 15 minutes drive from the historic market town of Bedford and the growing centre of Rushden and provides an ideal base for both business and holiday guests.

We have ten en-suite bedrooms available for overnight stays, weekend and mid-week breaks, or for longer for guests wishing to enjoy our hospitality and take advantage of our prime location between Oxford and Cambridge.

The Mill House Hotel is privately owned with a relaxed style of smart/casual. Our informality will never mean compromising on quality because whilst we do not stand on ceremony, we believe we have created a very special hotel serving top class food and wines that complement the friendly atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Hence our slogan “A little bit of what you fancy…”.

Local Attractions
On our doorstep are modern-day attractions such as the Bedford Autodrome home of the renowned Palmer Sport Driving Experiences and Formula Audi Race Series, as well as those associated with yesteryear such as the Glen Miller Museum at Twinwoods.

Bedford is the hometown of both modern day famous figures and those now residing in history books; John Bunyan of Pilgrim’s Progress and the Italian military hero General Garibaldi through to the sporting heroes of today – marathon runner Paula Radcliffe and Olympic gold medal rower Tim Foster who has a direct association with our Riverside Restaurant.
 

Location
The Mill House Hotel and Riverside Restaurant are located on the banks of the Great Ouse, 15 minutes drive from Rushden and the market town of Bedford, on the A6. Turn off the A6 roundabout signposted towards Sharnbrook and the Hotel and Restaurant are situated approximately 200 metres along Mill Road on the left.
