Only five miles from the fabulous city of Bath, the B&B is situated in a fantastic location to explore the city and the striking surrounding countryside. With its beautiful solid oak floors, wonderful soft furnishings and stunning furniture, Lorne House is a great place to spend a relaxing break or take a pleasant business trip.
At Lorne House we have four beautifully designed bedrooms all of which have elegant en-suite bathrooms with invigorating showers. Two of the bedrooms have baths, which guests can request when booking. We can provide our rooms as doubles, twins or as family accommodation.
Guests can relax and enjoy a good n ight’s sleep in our beautiful Egyptian cotton bed linen and make use of the features that each room offers including a flat screen TV with a DVD player, free wi-fi Internet Connection, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. Ironing and laundry facilities are also available upon request.
Lorne House, locally famous as childhood home of the Rev. W J Awdry, author of Thomas the Tank Engine, is set in the village of Box which offers a great choice of pubs all of which are within walking distance.
In addition to accommodation, we provide a flexible conference facility, suitable for small seminars, training or board room type meetings.
