The Lorna Doone is a family -run licenced hotel, centrally located in Porlock yet within easy walking distance of Exmoor and the Exmoor coastline.

A hotel since 1864, William Hancock, a brewer from Wiveliscombe erected the present building in 1886 on the site of the old 'Three Horseshoes Inn'. The buildings round the rear are original stables and the coachmen's cottages.

All rooms are ensuite, individually furnished and each named from the Lorna Doone story. Enjoy superb local fare cooked in our restaurant.
