Bed and Breakfast Description

The building was originally built in the 1870’s as a Victorian gentleman's residence and is situated on the southern slopes of the city.
With views over Georgian Bath, we have eight individually designed luxury bedrooms and only a ten minute stroll from the city centre, this really is the perfect place to stay. A short stroll to the city will take you to the Roman Baths, museums and shops.
Each room is well equipped and you are invited to enjoy our private gardens and other comfortable public areas. We also have a large car park on site which is free to residents.

All of our rooms are ensuite with both bath and shower and are all non smoking. We have superior rooms overlooking the city and can offer king, queen and twin beds.

All rooms are equipped with Direct dial telephone, Radio/alarm clocks, Hospitality tray.

We offer various options for breakfast and are able to cater for special dietary needs. Please let us know in advance of any special requirements.

Local Attractions

The comfortably sized city of Bath is packed with places to visit. Bath's rich diversity of museums, galleries, gardens and attractions - including the Roman Baths and 15th century Bath Abbey - are all within easy walking distance of each other. It's a beautiful city full of stunning sights such as the glorious Pulteney Bridge spanning the River Avon, the grand Georgian curve of the Royal Crescent, the greenery of many beautiful parks and gardens.

Directions from the M4
Leave M4 at Junction 18 and take A46 to Bath.
Take left off A46 on to A4 in the direction of City Centre
Continue on A4 for approx 2 miles.
Follow signs for ring road and A36
Continue on ring road passing a number of roundabouts and traffic lights until you arrive at a junction and you will see an arched bridge on the right.
Take the first exit on the A367 toward Exeter, Radstock and Shepton Mallet.
Leighton House is approx ¼ mile on the left.
Directions from the South
From the A36 you will join the ring road, head westwards until you reach the arched bridge on the right.
Take the first exit on the A367 towards Exeter, Radstock and Shepton Mallet.
Leighton House is approx ¼ mile on the left.
Directions from the West
Take A4 into Bath.
As you approach you will pass the Globe (public house) on right at a roundabout.
Continue in an easterly direction along the dual carriageway.
At the end of the dual carriageway, at the traffic lights, branch to the right.
Continue travelling towards the city centre for about 2 miles.
You will pass Sainsbury’s garage on the left and will then branch to the left on a ‘one way system’.
Get into the middle lane and at the traffic lights you will be turning to the right and then once through the first set of lights move over to the left lane (Thrings Townsend Solicitors on left) and turn to the left going through a second set of lights.
Continue on A4 until you see the arched bridge on your right.
Take the third exit (travelling south) towards Exeter, Radstock and Shepton Mallet.
Leighton House is approx ¼ mile on the left.
