Description

Welcome to our Georgian home where we offer bed and breakfast accommodation ideal for the business or holiday traveller.

The accommodation available comprises two double rooms, each with private bathroom (bathrobes provided). There are tea and coffee facilities in all rooms as well as TV/Videos. Wireless internet connection is also available.

Our lounge has a log fire for the time when only real warmth will do and our premises is non-smoking.

We offer a convenient location close to M1, M6 and A14 roads and there is ample car parking for our guests.

Local Attractions
Nearby attractions include Stanford Hall, the home of the Cave family since 1430, Foxton locks on the Grand Union Canal and Ryton Organic Gardens

For something a little different, why not book yourself in for a gliding lesson at The Soaring Centre, at Husbands Bosworth or a driving experience at nearby Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground Mallory Park and Silverstone race circuits are also both within driving distance.

Intensive theory sailing courses are available at the Swift Valley Sea School. Take a course in woodturning with John Berkeley or learn everything about soft furnishings with Cambridge Fine Furnishings. Cookery courses are available at the Bridge 67 Cookery School.

The area is good for both cycling and walking and we can recommend several short circuits, including pub stops, for you to try.

Walcote village is situated 1 mile east of M1 Junction 20 on the A4304 to Market Harborough. As you come into the village, High House is the 3rd house on the left. Please turn in through the gateposts to park on the driveway.

From Market Harborough


Walcote village is 11 miles west of Market Harborough on the A4304. In the village, pass the garage on the left and the Tavern pub on the right. High House is the 3rd building on the right after the pub. Please turn in through the gateposts to park on the driveway.
