Description

Firkin House Bed & Breakfast is situated within walking distance of the heart of Hoylake where you will find a friendly atmosphere amongst its many fine restaurants, traditional pubs and lively night life.

Liverpool is only a short journey away, albeit by car, train or the famous 'Ferry cross the Mersey'.

All rooms have a sea view and are equipped with H/C washbasins, hairdriers, hospitality trays and colour TV.

In addition we have for the comfort and convenience of our guests, TV lounge and conservatory, full central heating and ironing facilities are available.

There is ample parking available.

Local Attractions
The Royal Liverpool Golf Club, a British Open venue, is within half a mile, with other courses and windsurfing, sand yachting, sailing facilities all within easy reach.

The beach is only minutes away (A twitchers paradise) with a view of the Welsh mountains and Liverpool Bay.
Hilbre Island can be reached by foot,
tide permitting, where seals bask on the sandbanks and birds and wildlife abound.

The roman medieval walled city of Chester only half an hour away...
Thurstaston visitor centre with Thors rock and dinosaur footprint,
Ellesmere Port's Blue Planet the largest aquarium in the county,
with Cheshire Oaks Designer Village and Boat Museum in close proximity.

Liverpool and Manchester Airport are accessible by the M53 as are a diverse mixture of heritage, cultural and leisure attractions.
