Bed and Breakfast Description

Look no further for accommodation in West Wales! Set amidst the beauty of West Wales on the edge of the Pembrokeshire National Park and overlooking the Preseli Mountains, Eden House stands in 14 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland in the heart of Red Kite country.
Eden House is open to visitors the year round. Our woodland has footpaths running throughout, and we are always planting more trees to further enhance the beauty of the gardens. The grounds are being landscaped and feature standing stones, picnic areas and ornamental gardens where you may sit and enjoy the peace and quiet, tranquillity, security and stunning views! We are perfectly situated for exploring Pembrokeshire and West Wales, where you are always assured a warm and friendly welcome. It's all here - just waiting for you to enjoy.

The bedrooms at Eden House are all ground floor and are annexed from the main house, allowing guests both privacy and independence. All rooms are en-suite, finished to a high standard and with attention to detail, and are available with King Size double or twin beds, bath and shower, remote control colour television, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.

Each room has its own veranda with furniture. Sit out on balmy evenings and enjoy your glass of wine whilst taking in the tranquil view of the Preseli Mountains to the south-west.

The main house is a 5 bedroom farmhouse, built in the local, traditional style. The owners have fully refurbished the kitchen, installing modern appliances to cater for guests' needs, and the guests' dining room has been recently modernised and refitted, and complimented with a lounge area.

Local Attractions

Nearby Cardigan is a busy market town, where the past and the present meet in harmony. Although Cardigan possesses all the facilities of a modern town, its mediaeval castle, narrow streets and natural beauty embodies the essence of the magic that makes West Wales one of Britain's most popular holiday destinations.

Cardigan, home of the national shrine of the Roman Catholic Church in Wales, is visited by thousands of pilgrims every year.

To the south, on the way to the popular beach at Poppit, is St. Dogmaels with its working water mill near the ruins of the ancient abbey. Nearby is the rugged ruin of 13th century Cilgerran Castle, built in a most romantic setting on a rocky bluff overlooking the river Teifi. To the north and south lies the Ceredigion Heritage Coast as well as a large number of sandy beaches.

Cardigan Bay is famous for its seal and dolphin populations, which can often be seen along the marine protected area of the Cardigan Bay Special Area of Conservation, which extends 12 miles out to sea from Aberarth to just south of Cardigan.
