Description

The Channel View Hotel is in a unique location occupying an elevated cliff-top position overlooking Shanklin Bay with its sandy beaches and safe bathing that the Island is renowned for.

The hotel is owned by The Gino Family who personally oversee all aspects of this popular hotel. They are justly proud of their reputation for quality with a warm welcome, efficient service, excellent food and attention to detail.

Channel View has over 50 attractive ensuite rooms, all with bath or shower, many with a view of the sea. Each room is beautifully decorated and colour co-ordinated, all are well appointed with colour television, radio, telephone, hairdryer and welcome tray.

During your stay you can enjoy the luxury indoor heated swimming pool with integral spa, sauna and solarium.

All the facilities throughout are maintained to a high standard, with much of the hotel having been recently completely refurbished.

Channel View is renowned for its cuisine which is prepared for you by the hotel's team of three experienced chefs. Start the day with a traditional English breakfast, whilst in the evening there is a varied dinner menu, with a selection of British, continental and vegetarian dishes. To further enhance your meal, you can choose a good bottle of wine from the well selected wine cellar with vintage port or liqueur to follow.

Location

On arriving in Shanklin , head for the seafront. If you are walking from the station it is likely you will use Atherley Road , leading to Hope Road (us!).

If coming along the esplanade from the south, turn in at the end onto Hope Road.
