Bed and Breakfast Description

 

Burlington House is a Victorian property refurbished to a very high standard, offering select guest accommodation.

Situated on the main A40 Cheltenham to Gloucester Road, we are less than one mile from junction 11 of the M5 motorway and Cheltenham Spa railway station. We are also just over one mile from Cheltenham’s famous Montpellier district with a good selection of restaurants, wine bars and shops.

All bedrooms have Free wireless Internet access, TV with DVD player(DVDs available free of charge), hair dryers, tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits, sparkling and still water with unlimited supply of ice if required.

 

Cheltenham Attractions

 
One day will never be enough to explore this World Heritage City. The Roman Baths, Abbey and wonderful Georgian architecture, which houses the many and varied museums, are just waiting for you to visit them.

Bath is also of course an ideal base for visiting other historical sites such as Stonehenge and Avebury, and the Cotswolds are easily accessible by car or bus.
 

B&B Location
 
From the M5 motorway, exit at junction 11(if coming from the north ignore Cheltenham sign at junction 10).

At the top of the slip road join the A40 signed Cheltenham and proceed to the first roundabout, which is approximately half a mile. Follow the A40 over the roundabout and GCHQ will be on your left hand side. Proceed to the next roundabout (about 800 metres) and follow the A40.
After approximately 300 metres you will come to a bollard in the middle of the road, closely followed by a second one. At this stage give a right turn signal as Burlington House is situated approximately 50 metres on the right hand side after the second bollard. You can turn directly into the drive.

If coming from the East:

on entering Cheltenham, follow the A40 sign to Gloucester and keep on this road through Cheltenham, until you pass a Shell service station on your left hand side at a main junction, then TGI Fridays and after approximately 200 metres Budgens Service station. Burlington House is a further 200 metres on the left hand side and is the last house on the road. Our sign is easy to spot.

Full breakfast is included in our room rates, either English, Continental, or why not try our smoked salmon and scrambled eggs at no extra cost.
