The Thomas family welcome you to their non-smoking Bed and Breakfast in the tiny hamlet of Moorhouse. This beautiful seventeenth century cottage has been sympathetically renovated and extended to preserve the old world charm, whilst offering modern comforts. You will always receive a warm and friendly welcome whether you are just passing or want to spend a few days looking around this historic part of Nottinghamshire.
Our choice of accommodation is varied and versatile - we can offer you a twin room, two doubles and two triples. The Pink Room is situated in the main house and can be either double or twin bedded by arrangement. The Peach Room is situated in the main house and is a permanent double-bedded room. The Lilac Room is situated in the main house. It offers double bedded accommodation with a private bathroom next door. The corridor between the bedroom and bathroom is screened off from other guests.
The Mint Room and the Primrose Room are situated in the annexe. They offer twin/double bed accommodation on the ground floor. There is a mezzanine level with a single bed, or two single beds with reduced floor space. The mezzanine level is suitable for children or fully mobile adults and is accessed via a fixed wooden ladder with handrails. There is a latchable gate at the top of the ladder for safety.
